Backpacks, bottles, sunglasses, camping chairs — the things that get carried, dropped, and packed badly.
Accessories live or die on construction, so this is where published long-term testing and sustained review history matter most. We weight the parts that fail first — zippers, stitching, hinges, lids, strap anchors — and we prefer brands that will sell you a replacement part instead of a replacement product. A warranty that is easy to actually claim counts for more here than in any other category.
